Resolution: Licensee states she will obtain a working pool alarm that meets ASTM International Standard F2208, and turn on and place the alarm in the pool during operating hours.
Based on observation and interview, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in one out of one in-ground swimming pools at the facility without a life ring with a minimum exterior diameter of 17 inches and labeled as approved by the United States Coast Guard, which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Licensee states she will obtain a life ring with a minimum exterior diameter of 17 inches, which is labeled as approved by the United States Coast Guard and place the life ring where it is visible from the swimming pool and readily available for immediate use.
Based on observation and interview, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in one out of one in-ground swimming pools at the facility without a rescue pole with a body hook with a minimum fixed length of 12 feet, which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Licensee states she will obtain a rescue pole with a body hook and a minimum fixed length of 12 feet. and place the rescue pole with body hook where it is visible from the swimming pool and readily available for immediate use.
