Based on the observation, the Licensee did not meet the above regulation which poses a potential Health Rights risk to the children in care. During the facility tour of the kitchen the LPA observed the refrigerator to have sticky spilled liquid, open & uncovered drinks, old food in bags. Director stated the fridge is used for both staff and children’s food.
Based on the record review, the Licensee did not meet the above regulation which poses a potential Health, Safety & Personal Rights risk to the children in care. During file review the LPA was unable to review a current EMSA approved Pediatric CPR/1st Aid certificate for all staff.
Based on the observation & interview, the Licensee did not meet the above regulation which poses an immediate Health & Safety Rights risk to the children in care. During the facility tour of the school age program located in a detached bungalow, the LPA was unable to observe a working carbon monoxide detector in the . Staff stated the battery was dying which resulted in the carbon monoxide detector being unplugged and put in a cabinet.
