Based on the observation, the Licensee did not meet the above regulation which poses an immediate safety risk to the children in care. During the facility tour the Licensee was unable to get the pool alarm to work properly. The Licensee tossed the life saving ring in the pool to cause waves and the alarm did not sound. The only time the alarm sounded is when the Licensee turned the pool alarm upside down in the water. The facility is not ulitizing the pool cover it was licensed with.
Resolution: The Licensee understands the pool alarm must sound if a child falls into the water causing the water to create waves. Licensee agrees to figure out how to ensure the pool alarm is working correctly and will send a video to the Department on or by close of business on 9-17-2025.
Based on the record review, the Licensee did not meet the above regulation which poses a potential health risk to the children in care. During the staff file review the LPA was unable to review the DTap vaccination for S2.
Resolution: Licensee understands all individuals must have the required immunizations and available for review during the inspection. Licensee agrees to have S2 obtain proof of vaccination and submit it to the Department on or by POC due date of 9-30-2025. Titers Test is acceptable for proof.
