LPA reviewed the reason of the inspection was to remove the toddler option per licensee’s request. During today’s inspection, LPA and LPM measured the preschool classrooms and took a census. LPA and LPM toured the center both inside and outside. The center is located at address 2003 Glenda Way, Ceres CA 95307. This program operates year-round, from 5:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Classrooms 2 A/B and 3 A/B were the toddler option classrooms. Per licensee’s request, the toddler option will be removed. Preschool classrooms will now be, 2 A/B, 3 A/B, 4, 5, and 6. Center Supervisor stated that the licensee provides breakfast, lunch, and a PM snack. Food is prepared onsite in their kitchen. Room measurements were taken and reviewed with Center Supervisor. The total inside preschool area measured to an approximate 3794 square feet which will accommodate the total capacity of 97 preschool children. The outside square footage was not measured during today’s inspection. Facility has adequate outside square footage to meet the preschool capacity of 97 preschool children. The former outside toddler play yard will be utilized by preschool children. A fire clearance of 115 capacity was approved and granted by the Ceres Fire Department on 6/18/21. The clearance was for children, ages 0 to 6 years old. Pending a final file review, a recommendation will be made to remove the toddler option program and the preschool capacity will be at 97.
