RANGEL FAMILY CHILD CARE

Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. In touring the facility LPA observed two bedrooms and the laundry room open. In the laundry room there was detergent and bleach on the shelf. Also, the backyard had several areas with dog feces however, no children were at play. This poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: Licensee locked the rooms and began to clean the feces from the backyard during the inspection. Licensee agrees to submit a written plan as to how they will stay in compliance with the cited regulations section. Statement to be submitted to the Riverside Child Care Regional Office 12/19/2025.

Based on observation and interview, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. Licensee stated that they participated in the food program however, only had whole milk and 2% available, and no infants present at the time of the inspection. This poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: Licensee agrees to purchase milk (1%) and submit proof of purchase to the Riverside Child Care Regional Office by 12/19/2025.

Based on record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. In reviewing children files, child #2 and child #3, did not have the required affidavit form (LIC 282) on file. This poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: Licensee agrees to have parent/legal guardian complete the required form and submit a copy to the Riverside Child Care Regional Office by 3/15/2024.

Based on interview, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. Licensee admitted to not having completed the required Mandated Reporter Training. This poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: Licensee agrees to complete the required training and submit a copy of the certificate to the Riverside Child Care Regional Office by 10/18/2022.
