Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. In touring the facility, LPA observed an opening underneath the fireplace, missing dry wall, with nails exposed and accessible to the children. This poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Licensee agrees to cover the area/repair and assured no accessibility to the children in care. Licensee agrees to submit pictures of correction to the Riverside Child Care Regional Office by 2/29/2024.
