Based on record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. The last drill was conducted, based on the log reviewed, was over six months ago. This poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: Licensee agrees to conduct a fire/disaster drill, log it, and submit a copy of the log to the Riverside Child Care Regional Office by 3/12/2024.

Based on record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. In reviewing staff file(s), it was discovered that the assistant that was present at the time of inspection did not have record of the required immunizations (MMR/Tdap/Flu) on file. This poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: Licensee agrees to have the assistant immunized with the required vaccine(s) and submit proof to the Riverside Child Care Regional Office by 3/27/2024.

Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. Upon arrival and entering the facility the licensee was observed, alone, caring for seven children, two infants and five preschool children, therefore not operating within the licensed capacity and/or appropriate ratios. This poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: Licensee's assistant arrived minutes later in order to be in compliance. Licensee agrees to submit a written plan as to how she will assure compliance to the cited regulation, at all times. Plan to be submitted to the Riverside Child Care Regional Office by 10/19/2022.
