Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. In touring the facility LPA Lopez observed a Bumbo seat (which has been recalled) in the area where the children play and was informed that it was for an infant in care. LPA did not observed a child sitting on the Bumbo seat during the inspection. This item poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Licensee agrees to return the recalled item (Bumbo) seat to the child's parent and submit a written plan as to how they will remain in compliance with the cited section. Written plan to be submitted to the Riverside Child Care Regional Office by 12/12/2025.
