ANDREWS FAMILY CHILD CARE

Based on observations, interviews conducted, and records reviewed, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above as licensee did not ensure required immunizations were maintained for all personnel which poses a potential health risk to children in care.

Resolution: LPA discussed the requirement to maintain documentation of the required immunizations for all employees and volunteers. Licensee agreed to provide proof of required immunizations for their spouse/assistant to LPA by 05/08/2024.

Based on record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. In reviewing facility file/record, it was determined that the licensee's adult son (Charles Andrews) resides at the home and has not obtained a Criminal Record Clearance. Prior to today's (11/1/2022) inspection, this issue was addressed by LPA Lopez on multiple occasions with the licensee. This poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: An Informal Meeting has been scheduled for December 5, 2022 to address this citation.

Based on record review and file, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. The licensee's son (Charles Andrews) is over 18 years of age and resides at the home however, is not listed in the LIC 279 (Application for a Family Child Care License). This poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: Licensee is advised to update an LIC 279 and submit the original to the Riverside Child Care Regional Office by 11/10/2022.
