Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. I observation and taking measurements of the pool fencing, the bottom of the enclosure has a three inch clearance, which is over by one inch. This poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: The licensee agrees to make the necessary additions/adjustments to the fencing to assure that it has no more than to two inches of clearance. The licensee agrees to submit proof of correction to the Riverside Child Care Regional Office by 2/27/2026.

In touring the home, LPA observed several piles of toys, furniture, crafting items, etc..., both inside and outside of the home, that were not organized/orderly. Since there were no children present at the time of visit, this poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Licensee requested to place the backyard temporarily off limits until the items can be organized or discarded. Also, the front yard will be utilized in the meantime in case of outdoor play. Licensee agrees to have front yard free of any hazards and submit pictures to the Riverside Child Care Regional office by 1/31/2025.
