.3(c)(1)(C) Teacher-Child Ratio (c)...programs funded by the California Department of Education and operating under Title 5...(C) Preschool (36 months to enrollment in kindergarten) - 1:8 adult-child ratio, 1:24 teacher-child ratio. This requirement was not met as evidence by: Based on observation the licensee did not Title 5 ratio was followed. S2 (assistant) was supervising 11 children. Other adult near by was supervising another class of 12 children. This poses a potential Health, Safety or Personal Rights risk to children in care.

.3(b)(1) (b) Testing results with fractional ppb readings of 0.5 ppb or greater shall be rounded up to the nearest whole number, before comparing to the Action Level. (1) A result with values of 5.5 ppb or greater shall be deemed an Action Level Exceedance. This requirement was not met as evidence by: Based on record review the licensee did not ensure water sources at facility meet lead requirements. Lead test results showed that one drinking water sources has an action level exceedance. This poses a potential Health, Safety or Personal Rights risk to children in care.

.2(c) Drinking Water (c) Drinking water from a non contaminating fixture or container shall be readily available to children both indoors and in the outdoor activity area. This requirement was not met as evidence by: Based on observation the licensee did not ensure water was made readily available to refill water bottles provided by parents or provide children water who did not being water bottles from home indoors. Children do have access to water outdoors. This poses a potential Health, Safety or Personal Rights risk to children in care.

(a) The child care center shall be clean, safe, sanitary and in good repair at all times to ensure the safety and well-being of children, employees and visitors. (1) The licensee shall take measures to keep the center free of flies, other insects, and rodents.
