Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in not barricading the bottom of the stairs which posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: Licensee put the barricade at the bottom of the stairs at the time of this inspection. Licensee was reminded that the barricade must be placed when children less than five years old are present. Licensee states will submit a written statement of her understanding of this regulation by email to the department by 4/30/24.

Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in having detergents and cleaning compounds accessible to children in the bathroom, kitchen, and laundry room, which posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: Licensee removed all detergencts, cleaning compounds, and knife from the accessible areas and made them inaccessible a the time of this inspection. Licensee will submit a written statement of her understanding of this regulation to the department by email by 4/30/24.

Based on observation and record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above as Licensee did not have the disaster drill documented, the last one was on 7/12/23, which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: Licensee states she will conduct a disaster drill and send a copy to the department of the documented drill by email by 4/30/24.

Based on observation, interview, and record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above as Licensee's last Mandated Reporter Certificate expired on 2/8/24, which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: Licensee states she will send the department a copy of a current Mandated Reporter Certificate by email by 4/30/24.

Based on observation, interview, and record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above as Licensee's First Aid CPR expired on 3/2024, which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
