Based on observations, that LPA observed knives and medicines in kitchen cabinet, gas and paint in the storage and paint ouside of the storage outside in the back yard that were made accessible to daycare children. The licensee did not comply with the section cited above in the home shall be free from defects or condictions which might endanger a child which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Licensee put the knives in a cabinet out of reach of children, removed the detergents and made them inaccessable. Licensee made the medicnes drawer inaccessible. Licensee locked the storage and removed the buckets of paint and put them in the garage and made them accessible to daycare children at the time of this inspection.
