Based on observation, LPA observed the outdoor off-limits areas accessible to children in care which poses potential risks to the health and safety of children in care.
Resolution: Licensee will place a safety gate separating the off and on limits area of the outdoor play area and submit photos to LPA via email by 5pm on 10/30/2025.
Based on observation the licensee did not comply with the section cited above, LPA observed an infant in an exesaucer and two baby rockers in the living room which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Licensee agreed to store away the exersaucers and baby rockers. Licensee will sign a declaration stating that they will no longer utilize the baby rocker, exersaucer, and any other prohibited item in the familoy child care home and during daycare hours of operation.
Based on record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in licensee and assistant's Pediatric CPR and first aid being expired which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Licensee and assistant will complete an EMSA approved Pediatric CPR and First Aid training and submit certificate to LPA email at sarah.garcia@dss.ca.gov by 5pm on 6/19/2024. Website: https://emsa.ca.gov/childcare_provider/
