Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited. During the inspection the homes kitchen cabinet under the sink's child safety lock was unsecured containing a variety of hazardous liquids to children in care including a bottle of 409 multi-purpose surface cleaner, a can of wood oil furniture polish, ArmorAll tire shine, and an can of Kilz Upshot Interior Primer which poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: Licensee secured the child safety lock and a discussion took place on strategies on staying within compliance moving forward that pertain to hazardous liquids.

Based on observation the licensee did not comply with the section cited above when a unattended mop bucket was accessible to children in care containing approximately three (3) gallons of water. which poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: Licensee dumped the mop bucket and a discussion took place on strategies on staying within compliance moving forward that pertain to unattended bodies of water.

Based on observation the licensee did not comply with the section cited above when entered the home LPA observed eleven (11) children in care which two of the eleven (11) were infants with only one qualified adult staff on site providing care and supervision which poses an Immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: Once the facilities assistant arrived, children left for school and some were picked up by their parents placing the home within ratio compliance.

Resolution: During today’s inspection Licensee moved the play structure away from the pools rod iron gate eliminating access to the body of water (Pool).

Based on observation record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above LPA observed S1 return from transporting children to school. During staff file review it was determined S1 had an expired CPR certification which placed her out of compliance as she was alone transporting children in care which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: Licensee agrees to stop transportation services or have her assistant get recertified by the above date.
