Based on record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in 2 out of 4 files reviewed, as staff were unable to provide proof of Child Abuse Mandated reporter training for Staff #3 and Staff #4. This poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: Ms. Carreno stated that she will ensure that Staff #3 and Staff #4 complete an AB1207 certified Child Abuse Mandated Reporter course. This training can be accessed by logging on to the following website: mandatedreporterca.com. Upon completion, licensee will submit a copy of certification to the Fresno Community Care Licensing Office, by 5/16/2022.

Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above, as during today's inspection LPA observed Child #1 to be awake and lying in a portable napper. This poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: Facility staff removed the infant from the portable napper when asked to do so by LPA. Further, the portable napper was removed from the facility. LPA reviewed safe sleep requirements with facility staff and Chid #1 was placed in a suitable crib. LPA provided facility staff with safe sleep handouts and discussed the information therein. Ms. Carreno stated that she understood that portable nappers cannot be used in family child care homes. Deficiency cleared during inspection.
