Based on observation and interview, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above when LPA observed an aerosol can of Ant Roach Killer and an aerosol can of Raid Insect killer in plain view on top of the kitchen refrigerator along with many other cleaning detergent/compounds. Per licensee, all observed items are stored in the observed location which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Licencee agrees to review related poison prevention in childcare articles and/or videos online then submit a handwritten two (2) page report on what harms have happened to children in care who have access to poisons. This report will also include what licensee has done to prevent children from having access to poisons in her child care home.
