HIDALGO, GUADALUPE & MARIA FAMILY CHILD CARE

Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care. LPA observed licensee's personal items along with day care items cluttered, not in order, and stacked at heights which could potentially cause injury to a child in care.

Resolution: Licensee states that she plans to get rid of a lot of items, and downsize on a lot of her unnecessary daycare items.

Based on record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above, as Licensees stated they have not been logging each 15-minute check for Child #1, Child #3, and Child #5 as required. This poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: Licensees stated they will begin logging each 15-minute check for Child #1, Child #3, & Child #5, daily. Copies of the completed logs, for the month of the December 2022, to be submitted to the Fresno Community Care Licensing Office by 12/29/2022.

Based on observation the licensee did not comply with the section cited above as today, LPA observed an infant rocker and excersaucer in an area accessible to children. This poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: LPA reviewed safe sleep regulations with licensees in detail. Licensees removed the infant rocker and exersaucer from the home today and agreed to forgo usage. Licensees understand that infant rockers, exersaucers, portable nappers, baby walkers, and bouncers are not permissible for usage in family child care homes. Deficiency cleared during inspection.

Based on LPA Marquez observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. LPA observed the home has various household items (mail, pictures, toys, blankets) stacked on top of furniture, counters, tables, cabinets. which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: Maria Hidalgo agreed to organize and remove unneeded household items that are being stacked on top of furniture and/or cabinets. LPA will return to clear deficiency.
