Based on observation, interview, and record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. LPA observed that the licensee does not have any of the required safety items in place to meet AB 2866 Pool Safety requirements. LPA observed decorative bricks located near the pool area, which could serve as a potential foothold for children which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: The licensee stated she will obtain a pool safety alarm that meets ASTM F2208 standards, a U.S. Coast Guard-approved life ring, a rescue pole with a body hook (minimum fixed length of 12 feet), and a daily pool inspection log. She also stated that the decorative bricks near the pool will be made inaccessible to children. The licensee plans to have all required safety requirements by 10/02/25.
Based on observation and record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in which poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care. During todays inspection LPA observed two uncleared adults living in the home.
Resolution: Licensee will submit proof of both adults going to get fingerprinted via livescan.
