Based on record review and LPA's observations, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above as today, LPA found that the licensee's adult daughter (Adult #1), who was present today and is a resident of the home, has not been fingerprint cleared as required. This poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care. A civil penalty was assessed.
Resolution: Licensee stated she is aware that individuals residing and/or providing childcare at the Family Child Care Home are required to obtain a California background/fingerprint clearance and that she will abide by the licensing regulation, as stipulated above, going forward. Licensee stated she will submit proof of live scan for Adult#1 to the Fresno Community Care Licensing Office by 12/10/21. Subsequent to receiving live scan results for Adult #1, licensee will also contact the Fresno Community Care Licensing (CCL) office to report live scan findings.
