CYNTHIA'S FAMILY CHILD CARE

Based on observation, interview,and record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. LPA reviewed staff file and staff did not have immunizations on file. which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: Licensee to provide proof staff immunizations MMR, TDAP, and TB clearance by 04/29/25.

Based on observation by LPA, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in that cleaning compounds were accessible to children in care which posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: Licensee immediately placed child safety locks on on the kitchen cabinet underneath the sink and the bathroom cabinet underneath the sink, making the cleaning compounds inaccessible to children in care. Licensee agreed to write a statement indicating how she will ensure no hazardous items are kept in an accessible area to children, and send statement to Community Care Licensing (CCL) by POC due date.

Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in that the play pens used for infant sleep had child tents inside used as a cover, as well as loose articles such as blankets and toys which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Resolution: Licensee removed all tents and loose articles from playpens before infants were placed inside for sleeping. Licensee agreed to write a statement indicating her understanding of safe sleep regulations, and send the statement to CCL by POC due date. LPA left Licensee a copy of safe sleep regulations for reference.
