Based on observation and record review), the licensee did not comply with the section cited above: During today's inspection, while inspecting the in-ground swimming pool, an alarm when placed in a pool that will sound upon detecting entrance into the water was found to be out of compliance with AB2866, The Pool Safety Act. The observed device was not ATSM Certified. which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Licensee agreed to purchase the following item: A ASTM compliant pool alarm and will ensure the inspection log documenting the presence and condition of each of safety item.
