Based on observations, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. Essential oil, shaving razor, and teething ointment were observed in accessible areas of the home which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Licensee immediately removed the items and placed them in an inaccessible area.
Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. LPA observed cleaning products accessible in an unlocked cabinet underneath the kitchen sink which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Licensee immediately engaged the cabinet lock to make items inaccessible.
Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in as today, LPAs observed the licensee to be caring for seven children, none of which were school age, without an assistant. This poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Licensee's assistant arrived during today's inspection, resulting in the licensee obtaining compliance as it pertains to required ratios. Licensee stated that going forward she will ensure that she complies with ratio and capacity requirements of a small family child care home when no assistant is present. Deficiency cleared at inspection.
Based on record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above as today she stated that she had not completed a Child Abuse Mandated Reporter course. This poses a potential risk to the health, safety, and personal rights of children in care.
Resolution: Licensee stated that she will ensure Staff #1 completes an AB1207 certified Child Abuse Mandated Reporter course. This training can be accessed by logging on to the following website: mandatedreporterca.com Upon completion, licensee will submit a copy of certification to the Fresno Community Care Licensing Office, by 11/03/22.
Based on record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above for 1 infant under the age of 1 year old, which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Licensee is to complete the LIC9227 and place in child's file by November 30, 2021.
