Based on LPA observation the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. Licensee did not have the required safety equipment: Life ring, safety pole, alarm/pool cover or inspection log which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Per licensee safety equipment will be ordered by POC date 08/05/2025 and submit pictures to CCLD. Licensee and assistants will read regulation and submit a written statement of understanding.
Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in there was sixteen children present with one assistant when LPA arrived to conduct the annual inspection,which poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Assistant called parents to have them come and pick up there children. Licensee had her 14 year old daughter who arrived after LPA to stay and assist in watching children until Licensee's adult daughter arrived.
Based on record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in two out of two staff did not have proof of completion of their mandated reporter training which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Licensee states that she will send proof of completed mandated reporter training certificates to the LPA by the above POC date.
