Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. LPA observed there was no operable carbon monoxide detector device inside the home. This poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to children in care.
Resolution: Per Licensee, she will install an operable carbon monoxide detector device inside the home to be compliance. Licensee agrees to submit proof to the CCL-Fresno Regional office by 04/22/2025.
Based on record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. There was no written proof that the fire and disaste drillsr were been onducted at least once every six months. This poses a potential health, safety, or personal rights risk to children in care.
Resolution: Licensee stated that she will submit proof to the CCL-Fresno Regional Office by 04/22/2025 indicating as to how Licensee will ensure that the fire and disaster drills will be conduct at least once every six months.
During record review, Licensee stated Child #1 (C1) have been attending the daycare since 04/02/2024. Licensee was not able to provide proof indicated that she had been monitoring C1 every 15 minutes when C1 was sleeping. This posed a potential health, safety, or personal rights risk to children in care.
Resolution: Per Licensee, she will review and watch the Safe Sleep video throug the department's webpage at https://www.cdss.ca.gov/inforesources/child-care-licensing/public-information-and-resources/safe-sleep. Licensee agrees to provide proof that she have watch, understands, and how she is going to implement the regulation in her daycare home. Licensee will also need to provide proof that she has been monitoring every 15 minutes when Child #1’s sleep. The proofs are to be submit to the Department by 04/22/2024.
