Based on observation and record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above as the fire extinguisher was purchased 03/19/2024, exceeding the annual service, which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Per licensee, they will buy a new fire extinguisher and keep the receipt. Licensee will send proof to LPA by POC date.
Based on observation, record review, and interview, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above as all staff do not have a current Mandated Reporter Child Care Provider (AB1207) Training, which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Per licensee, all staff will complete Mandated Reporter Child Care Provider (AB1207) Training and send proof to LPA by POC date.
Based on record review and interview, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above as all staff do not have current Pediatric CPR/First Aid, which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Per licensee, they will enroll in the Pediatric CPR/First Aid course and complete the in person training. Proof of completion will be submitted to LPA by POC date.
Based on interview and record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in 1 of 2 staff files, Staff #2, did not have a current Mandated Reporter Child Care Provider (AB1207) proof of completion which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Per Licensee, Staff #2 will complete Mandated Reporter Child Care Provider (AB1207) and submit proof to LPA by POC date.
