Based on observation there were sharp knives and lighters stored in two drawers in the kitchen accessable to children which poses an immediate health, safety risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Durning the inspection Licensee moved the knives and lighters to a higher drawer making them inaccesable to children in care. Plan of Corrections Cleared during inspection.
Based on record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above, Licensee was not able to provide documentation of 15 minute sleep checks conducted for children unter the age of two years of age, which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Resolution: Licensee agreed to email a sample of sleep logs to LPA L. Perez by Plan Of Correction date of 11/04/2024. loraine.perez@dss.ca.gov
