Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. LPA's observed that the Licensee had 2 knifes in the drawer that were in hands reach of the clients and the drawers weren't locked. Additionally, there was a knife with the sharp side exposed to clients in the sink, which poses a potential health and safety risk to persons in care.
Resolution: The Licensee stated that she will ensure that the knifes go in a cabinet that is higher up and not in the clients arms reach. The Licensee stated that she will provide pictures to LPA Barragan of corrections. The email: Eduardo.barragan@dss.ca.gov
Based on observation and interview, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above which poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care. LPA observed cleaning chemicals throughout the home at the reach of children.
Resolution: POC was cleared today. Licensee placed cleaning chemicals out of the reach of children.
